Greg Krehbiel

Legal Assistant

Laurel-based Legal Assistant, Greg Krehbiel, has been with the Downs Law Firm since October of 2025. Greg graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Geology, and spent several years in seminary as preparation for ordained ministry. Then life went in a different direction.

Greg has spent most of his career working in business-to-business and consumer publishing, working as an editor, a manager, a marketer, an executive, in IT, and in product development. Along with his wife, Wendy, he raised and homeschooled five children, all of whom have moved on to their own careers.

He is an expert at bridging the intellectual and cultural divide between technical and creative staff. In recent years, Greg worked as a consultant solving technology, strategy, operations, and process problems for publishers. His expertise includes Customer Data Platforms, acquisition and retention, e-commerce, RFPs, fulfillment, and project management. Greg likes to fish, hike, and camp, and dabbles in fiction and non-fiction writing.
