Wendy Krehbiel

Legal Assistant

Laurel-based Legal Assistant, Wendy Krehbiel, has been with the Downs Law Firm since February of 2018. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for the Department of Defense as an electronics engineer. Along with her husband, Greg, she then raised and homeschooled their five children, all of whom have successfully attained university degrees and moved on to their own careers. They now have a number of wonderful grandchildren!

Having previously worked for another law firm doing newsletters and website editing, Wendy is really enjoying the challenges of her job here as a legal assistant. She is constantly learning more about the legal aspects of estate planning and keeping track of many details at once, in addition to getting to know many wonderful people! She also very much appreciates being able to work alongside people of honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic. In addition to loving her job at the Downs Law Firm, Wendy sings for her church and volunteers with the Gabriel Network, a charity that assists women in crisis pregnancies. She also loves gardening, exercising, and dancing!
